Perhaps the smartest box you will ever invest in. Because for your baby, a dummy is not necessarily 'just' a dummy. I did not know this myself with my first child, and when I felt the time had come for a dummy, it was too late. She would not take a single one. What I wish I had known was that babies' sucking reflex is activated at a point in the baby's palate. And the position of this point differs from baby to baby in terms of how high/deep/far back it is located. Therefore, a round and very soft dummy may be the right choice for some babies, while a flat or symmetrical one, perhaps in another material, may be the right choice for others. A size 1 dummy may be the right choice for some, while a size 2 is actually better for other babies, even though it 'on paper' says 'from 6 months'.

Storage
Dummies should always be stored clean and dry, for example in a closed box or in a dummy case. In particular, avoid placing them in direct sunlight or heat, as this may weaken the material. Also, do not sterilise the dummy with anything other than boiled water.

Cleaning
Before using the dummies for the first time, pour boiling water over them and leave them to soak for 5 minutes. Do not boil the dummies. Afterwards, they should be regularly sterilised by pouring boiling water over them.

Why is the nipple clear in the material on some dummies and matte in the material on others? Natural rubber latex is a natural material with many excellent properties, such as softness, tensile strength and high bite resistance. However, latex also has natural variations in the material that may be visible in the right light. Therefore, the appearance of the nipple may vary in clarity and colour. However, this has no effect on the product's safety and quality.
