Advantages of choosing a lunch box with compartments

There are regular lunch boxes that are simply a simple box without any divisions inside, and there are lunch boxes that have compartments inside or have loose parts that are placed inside the lunch box and can thus create smaller compartments inside the lunch box.

A clear advantage of choosing a lunch box with compartments is that your child's lunch box keeps the sandwiches well organized. It will therefore not be a problem to make smaller sandwiches. For example, you can divide a larger slice of rye bread in two and place them in separate compartments inside the lunch box. Sandwiches without butter and with toppings such as a slice of cold cuts probably do not need to have their own little compartment inside the lunch box, but sandwiches with spreads and decorations can easily smear the other sandwiches.

Should the lunch box be made of steel or plastic?

Many of the lunch boxes for children and adults that we sell are made of metal, but you can also find lunch boxes made of plastic. Lunch boxes made of plastic often withstand being put in the dishwasher and are easier to carry around. On the other hand, lunch boxes made of steel are more durable, and it is often best to avoid putting steel in the dishwasher unless it is made of stainless steel. Even if you choose lunch boxes made of stainless steel, there may still be rust in your dishwasher. Whether you choose a plastic or steel lunch box depends on your preferences and possibly your child's preferences.
