Having trouble choosing the right size when shopping online? Don't despair - we have created an easy and clear size guide for you.

Online shopping can be difficult, especially when it comes to sizes. That's why we have created an easy and detailed guide on how you can easily measure yourself to find the perfect bra size for you.

HOW DO YOU FIND YOUR CORRECT SIZE?

You find your correct size by measuring your circumference and cup size.

1) First, measure your circumference with a measuring tape. Place the tape around your body just below your bust. Read the number, then you can find your circumference in the chart.

2) Then, find your cup size by measuring all the way around your chest where you are widest. It should neither be too tight nor too loose (wearing a neutral bra). Based on the chart's recommendation of your circumference, you now go vertically down the same column of the chart and find your bust measurement, where you can find your correct cup size.

Remember that all women are unique, so this is only a starting point. There are many nursing bras available, so you can definitely find one or more bras that will fit you while being comfortable, practical, and beautiful.

At Naturebaby.dk, we have a wide selection of maternity bras and nursing bras without underwire and with gel underwire - for both small and large breasts. When choosing an organic nursing bra, you can be sure to find the best ones with us and for every taste, without harmful chemicals!

NURSING BRAS

When nursing, it is important to have the right nursing clothing - and especially a nursing bra. It is important for successful breastfeeding that your breasts are supported, warm, and easy to access when you need to nurse. We have a wide selection of lovely nursing bras that make it easy to nurse both out and at home. We have some of the country's best nursing bras and have many years of experience in selecting these.

A good nursing bra is significant for a new mother. Due to its special construction, it is possible to open the cups so that the baby can easily access your breast. You still have the option to keep the bra on, as many nursing bras have easy clasps that can be opened and closed with one hand, and when you have opened the nursing function, there is full skin-to-skin contact between you and your baby. Many bras also have built-in slings in the cup that provide support while nursing.

CAN I BUY A NURSING BRA BEFORE GIVING BIRTH?

During your pregnancy, your breasts will definitely change shape and size. All women are different, which means that the timing, extent, and when your breasts reach their size for the rest of the nursing period will vary from woman to woman. Always expect that your bust will grow until the milk comes in. Changes in your breast can start as early as a few weeks into your pregnancy. This also means that your bra size will likely change several times. This will not only be the cup size but also the circumference. A good rule of thumb is to go up one size. Usually, the breast will have its final size about 3 weeks after giving birth. A good nursing bra is an important factor in getting breastfeeding off to a good start. Therefore, we recommend that you buy your nursing bras 2-4 weeks before giving birth. This ensures that you get the correct fit.

WHAT IS IMPORTANT WHEN BUYING A NURSING BRA?

Due to the changes you will undergo during your pregnancy, it is important to have a good and supportive bra that fits you and your bust. Therefore, it can be a good idea to get a nursing bra that is designed for the changes your body will go through. Remember that there should be room for nursing pads and for the milk to flow. After giving birth, your circumference will decrease as the ribs return to their place. It should also be comfortable to wear, so you can feel comfortable. We only offer nursing bras in soft and breathable materials that are most comfortable for you and baby to be close to. If the nursing bra does not fit you and sits poorly, it can cause damage to breast tissue, blocked milk ducts, and mastitis. A flexible and adjustable nursing bra with easy clasps and without irritating seams is a really good start.

When nursing, it is important not to wear a bra with metal underwire due to the risk of pinched and damaged milk ducts. Instead, you can advantageously choose a nursing bra with gel underwire, so you can get optimal support, just like with a regular underwire bra, but without the risk of damaging the milk ducts.

We would recommend that you get about 3 nursing bras; one to wear, one in the washing machine, and of course, a spare. We also recommend having a nursing top that is stretchy for the night and the days when milk production is increased.

MATERNITY BRAS

One of the first things that will happen during your pregnancy is that your bust will become larger and probably more sensitive than usual. Therefore, it can be a good idea to get a maternity bra that provides good support for your bust during the pregnancy period.

WHEN CAN I BUY A MATERNITY BRA?

Before giving birth, you can advantageously buy a good stretchy maternity bra that you can use during pregnancy while your breasts are sore and changing shape and size. A stretchy bra will also be good after giving birth when the breast grows as the milk comes in. Here you get a bra that is comfortable to wear and is more flexible as your breast changes.

When your regular bras start to feel tight or uncomfortable, we recommend that you get a maternity bra. This can already be 4-6 weeks into your pregnancy. At Naturebaby.dk, we have many different designs of maternity bras, including from Carriwell. If you are unsure about your size, you can use our size chart below to find the right size. We are also available by email or phone if you have any further questions.

WHAT IS IMPORTANT WHEN BUYING A MATERNITY BRA?

When buying a maternity bra, it is important that it fits you properly and feels comfortable. A maternity bra should not be tight or cause your breasts to spill out of the cups.

When you are pregnant, your breasts can grow up to 2 cup sizes. They also become heavier as they enlarge. Therefore, it is important that you have a maternity bra that provides support and can prevent and relieve back and neck pain.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A MATERNITY BRA AND A NURSING BRA?

The biggest difference between the two bras is that a nursing bra has specially designed cups that you open using the clasp function. This way, you can nurse without taking off the bra.
