Size guide for buying premature clothes
The regular sizes for children and babies typically take the child's height/length into account, but often sizes for premature babies are based on their weight. The regular children's sizes start at 50 cm, which corresponds to size 50/56. This size corresponds to the child being 0-1 month old. The premature clothing sizes are therefore size 48 and below.
In our range, you will find premature clothes in sizes from size 48 down to size 32. Baby clothes in size 44-50 typically cover premature babies weighing from 2 to 3 kg. If your baby weighs only 900-1500 grams, you probably need size 32. Please note that much of the premature clothing ranges from smaller than size 50 and goes up to the "regular" children's clothing sizes.
