With small new citizens of the world in your arms, it is important to ensure that they are kept warm at all times. Small heads give off quite a lot of heat, and they cannot regulate their own temperature or tell you if they are cold. 

I learned, when my first child was a baby, that little ones should wear a hat/sleep with a hat in all months containing an 'r'. That is, only May, June, July and August are exempt. But do keep an eye on May, as it can be unpredictable.

Disana's knitted wool hat protects baby's sensitive head and gently wraps it in warm, soft organic merino wool.

A special cut and extra fine flat seams ensure that nothing pinches or feels uncomfortable, even when baby is lying down.

Two wide, flexible knitted ties also prevent the hat from slipping.

Washing instructions

We recommend washing Disana wool products by hand. This is best done in the sink, in cold water, with Disana wool shampoo. Never wring or rub the products, simply press them gently. Then rinse at the same water temperature and gently squeeze out the water.

If you prefer machine washing, use the wool wash programme, cold and without spinning or only at max. 400 revolutions. However, machine washing wool is always at your own risk.

Tip!

If you have stains on the wool product, gall soap is by far the best solution.

Stains from faeces can also be bleached by placing your wool product in the sun.

Before use, or occasionally for a little extra care, it is also highly recommended to give the nappy pants a lanolin treatment.

Lanolin protects the wool, enhances the water-repellent effect and has an antibacterial effect.
