Esencia was founded in 2006. Behind the brand are two mothers - one from Bolivia and one from Japan, both residing in Denmark. What they have in common is their desire to create natural products of high quality with attention to detail. The clothing is produced using ancient craftsmanship from the indigenous women in the Andes Mountains.
Esencia's clothing is made with children's delicate skin in mind and is made from the finest alpaca and llama wool and pima cotton.
