Sulfates have had a negative reputation for many years. The reason is that some sulfates, such as Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), have a small molecular weight, which allows them to penetrate cells. Sulfates are not dangerous, but can potentially disrupt the balance of skin and hair. At KRAES, we do not use the criticized SLES and SLS, as KRAES always focuses on natural ingredients, quality, and effectiveness. Instead, we use a mild and natural form of sulfate called Sodium Coco Sulfate (SCS). This surfactant has a larger molecular weight, does not penetrate cells, and is derived from coconut oil. SCS effectively cleanses the locks without removing natural oils and is also approved by the Swan label and COSMOS. KRAES pure tangles fragrance-free is 100% natural and contains 200 ml.
